Date: Saturday, August 28th What Is TRE© (Trauma Release Evercises) TRE is a simple, gentle and profound technique that facilitates the relaxation of the psoas muscle and the release of physical and emotional tension and stress. The TRE exercises tire the legs, triggering an involuntary shaking and trembling response, which begins in the legs and often spreads throughout the body. This shaking is actually the nervous system’s way of discharging long-held tension or unconscious muscle contraction in order to restore the body to wholeness. Some benefits you may expect from TRE: Maria Alfaro was born and raised in Rome, Italy and lives and teaches in Santa Cruz, California. She has 23 years of Yoga experience, and has developed her own style which is vigorous and yet gentle on the lower back, neck and joints. She has been teaching “Yoga and TRE” workshops for 6 years. |
