Amy's teaching style is motivated by a desire to learn more about the self, not just the body. After over 1000 hours teaching and just as many hours studying, Amy's focus with both teaching and studying yoga now has its root’s in Tantra, Ayurvedics, and Hatha yoga. She is inspired in the yoga practice to find the place between effort and ease. Her classes use breath and focus to subtly conserve the energy of the body for the inward expression of joy and well-being. Attention to the subtly in poses conveys the outward expression of strength and flexibility.
Her Hatha yoga classes are for people young and young at heart, flexible and in need of some stretching, those new to yoga and those with a steady practice.
