Deborah Saliby is a long time Yogini and has been teaching yoga for over 20 years. She began doing yoga at the YWCA in Massachusetts in 1974. Later being inspired by her yoga teacher Sue Luby she moved to California and attended the Iyengar Yoga Institute in SF graduating in 1982. She has great reverence and graditude to the wonderful teachers who have inspired her over the years such as, Judith Lasater, Melinda Pearlee, Donald Moyer, Aadil Palkhivala, Rammanand Patel, Mary Dunn, Toni Montez, Manouso Manos, and Larry Hatlet, to name a few. In 2000 she attended the Iyengar Yoga Convention and took classes with Geeta Iyengar.
Through out the years she has had a deep interest in meditation, energy healing, hypnotherapy and restorative Yoga. Her teaching style with heart and amusement is challenging, centering and deeply restorative. She presently specializes in Prenatal and Postnatal yoga and is a childbirth educator through the Hypnobirthing Childbirth Education approach.
