Jen enjoys teaching all age groups and body types. She's taught yoga to everyone from rebel guerrillas in the Philippine Jungle to cancer survivors in North Carolina and women recovering from domestic violence in California. Since 1989 she has experienced the wonder of yoga, and in 1994 she found the joy in Ashtanga yoga.
Her yoga study has taken her to India to learn from Sri K. Pattabhi Jois and teacher trainings with Tim Miller (Ashtanga), Lisa Walford (Iyengar) and Judith Lasater (Pre/Post-natal). She is also influenced by Maty Ezraty, Dena Kingsburg, Chuck Miller, and Eddy Stern. She is a perpetual student of anatomy, Sanskrit, Vipassana meditation, and yoga philosophy. She helps people practice at a pace that's appropriate for them and that unifies their own breath, body and mind. Jen is also a freelance writer and documentary filmmaker.
