Kathleen Fay came to yoga to deepen her understanding of the mind-body connection. As a certified Kripalu Yoga Instructor and as a Clinical Social Worker specializing in mind-body-spirit work, Kathleen has seen the profound effect yoga and meditation can have in people’s daily lives. Her classes focus heavily on breathwork and flow to rejuvenate one’s spirit. Classes range from a gentle to moderate flow integrating breath and movement to release pent up tension and emotion to make room for prana (energy) to move more freely throughout the body.
Kathleen provides a safe environment for each student to “explore their edge” on their journey to finding self-acceptance and unconditional love. Kathleen has practiced yoga for many years and has experience in many different styles including; Kripalu, Ashtanga, Svaroopa, and Bikram. She has studied under a wide range of teachers at the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health in the Berkshires of Massachusetts. Kathleen has a private psychotherapy practice and is available for yoga therapy and individual and group yoga sessions for children and adults.
